Crowds followed Jesus, eager to be filled with hope.
Like them, we come seeking nourishments for our souls.
When life is battered by anger and hostility, we hunger and thirst for hope and truth.
With hearts filled with concerns for family, friends, our country and our world – there are times we don’t know what to do.
Don’t know how to help to others.
Jesus said to the multitude, sit down.
Jesus reassured the disciples, God helps calm us down.
In God’s presence, our hearts can be confident.
All will receive care. Be lifted up.
Then, we reach out with compassion to others – as Jesus asked us to do.
